Born in Sunderland, Clive started his show business career as a drummer in a pop group. After a year had passed and a serious lack of bookings - and food - Clive answered an advert for a drummer in the Famous Robert Bros Circus where he stayed for seven years ending up as head clown.  After leaving the Circus he auditioned for Opportunity Knocks. He came second but was fortunately seen by Michael Hurl, a well-known TV producer. There followed many TV guest  appearances including Seaside Special, Game for a Laugh, Make Me Laugh, Crackerjack, The Sooty Show, Ronnie Corbett’s Thursday Special and the famous Junior Royal Command Performance at the London Palladium.  He was also resident on  Razzamatazz, How Dare You, Rolf on Saturday(with Rolf Harris) and spent 3 years on Tiswas, all of which were long running series.  In 1988 Clive reached another pinnacle of his career - he became British Magical Champion - the first time a comedy magician has ever won this prestigious award.                                                Clive and Danny are, in fact, father and son, so the fact that Danny was almost born in a dressing room enabled him to start his show business career early. This early start and an absolute passion for show business, his incredibly high energy level, and his natural zany style of comedy has produced gales of laughter and gasps of amazement almost simultaneously - no mean feat. Danny’s TV appearances include GMTV’s Mole in a Hole (series of 26), Stars in Their Dressing Rooms, Angus Deaton’s It Shouldn’t Happen to a TV Presenter and The Tweenies. Danny enjoyed great success at the Grand Theatre, Blackpool, with Cannon and Ball in the summer spectacular Comedy Bonanza in 2002. Over the past years they have toured extensively in various different venues from Holiday Parks for Butlins/Haven, to Theatre and Cabaret Venues the length and breadth of the country and in 2001 starred in Zippo’s Circus, the UK’s largest circus. More recently they have toured all over the UK and Europe with their own Circus Hilarious and spent five years in the summer season spectacular in Great Yarmouth at the Famous Hippodrome Circus. During 2008, Danny performed the very dangerous Houdini’s Milk Churn Escape and is currently trying to perfect the Human Cannonball as his alter ego Captain Splat.  After performing in pantos all over the country, they have returned to the Theatre Royal, Newcastle upon Tyne, for the last five panto seasons where Geordies and Machems alike have taken them to their hearts. They are proud to have been jointly awarded the CFA Best Comedy Act 2007 and Danny was also runner up in the Journal Culture Awards for Performance of the Year 2008 Youngest son of Clive Webb and brother of Danny Adams, Jonny is one of the country’s youngest top illusionists and escapologists, having been born into show business and taken to it like a duck to water.  Jonny’s illusions have impressed audiences up and down the country with their unique style, leaving audiences completely baffled.  Jonny also is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist with the Circus Hilarious almost legendary all-clown rock band, Clownforce. He spent the last four summer seasons with Peter Jay’s Hippodrome Circus and Water Spectacular at Great Yarmouth and performed Houdini’s straight jacket escape in the roof of the building over water.  He has also appeared in the pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as Prince Charming.  Jonny is currently studying at the Italia Conti Academy in London, Britain’s oldest theatre arts training school, in the final year of his degree course They are proud to have been jointly awarded the CFA Best Comedy Act 2007 and Danny was also runner up in the Journal Culture Awards for Performance of the Year 2008 Clive Webb; Amy Lynch (Marketing Officer), Jo Kirby (Marketing Manager), Philip Bernays (Chief Executive) all of Theatre Royal, Newcastle upon Tyne; Danny Adams LEAD GUITARIST – CLOWNFORCE Dave was born in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire in 1984 and has been playing guitar since he was fourteen, but still isn't very good. (So he says!) He has played guitar in several bands including a David Bowie tribute and a spell in Tenerife playing bass in the house band at a '60s theme bar. He joined Clownforce at the start of 2009. Dave's favourite drink is Cherry 7up and he says that when he grows up he wants to be Buddy Holly. Real name Tymon Houlton, he was born in Oxford in 1966.  He always wanted to be a clown and learned to juggle by the age of ten and to unicycle by the age of twelve.  At fourteen years old he started clowning on the streets of Denmark, France and Italy.  It was in Italy that he first became known as Timoni as Tymon did not sound quite right to the Italians. In 1990, Timoni won the prestigious “Jo Jo” Award for Best Young Clown at the International Clowns Convention.  He ventured into circus in 1992 when he and his mum produced a show called “Bert Bangers Circus”, touring in a big to tent around London parks and at one of these shows he was spotted by Zippos Circus and offered a job with them for two years. In 1995, he joined Clive and Danny for a circus tour and has been working with them every year since.  He was with them at the birth of Circus Hilarious which is now in its fifteenth year where he became Cousin Timoni (no relation) and has been important member of the team since that date, performing in every show – he has been part of the slapstick routines, the boxing routine, performed the rolling globe; the tower of glasses; the spinning plates; impersonations such as Amy Winehouse, etc. He is also kept very busy behind the scenes building props and flight cases.  It seems that Circus Hilarious just wouldn’t be the same without him.          Here’s to the next fifteen years!
